Wells Fargo to buy certain Citibank customer accounts

April 15 (Reuters) - Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC.N), the fifth largest U.S. bank, said its unit would acquire the account relationships of Citibank’s (C.N) customer households in six northern Nevada and two California Sierra Foothills communities.

The deal with its unit, Wells Fargo Bank N.A., will include about $500 million in deposits and $60 million in loans, the bank said in a statement.

Other financial terms were not disclosed. Wells Fargo and Citibank will provide customers with information about the transition as it progresses, it said. (Reporting by Savio D’Souza in Bangalore, Editing by Dinesh Nair)
