Nov 18 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, North American and Asian companies were reported by 2100 GMT on Tuesday.

** InBev NV INTB.BR has closed its purchase of U.S. brewer Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc (BUD.N) to create the world’s largest brewer in the biggest cash acquisition in history, despite a global financial crisis that has stymied other deals.

** Ford Motor Co (F.N), scrambling for cash as the U.S.-based automakers struggle to stay alive, has agreed to sell about two-thirds of its stake in Japanese carmaker Mazda Motor Corp (7261.T) for around $538 million. [ID:nT295006]
** Chipmaker ON Semiconductor Corp ONNN.O dropped its hostile offer to acquire Atmel Corp ATML.O on Tuesday, leaving bidding partner Microchip Technology Inc (MCHP.O) to look for other ways to pursue a deal with Atmel. [ID:nN18154209]
