MOVES-Citigroup, Pacific Alliance, RBC Wealth Management

CITIGROUP (C.N)

Citigroup said it has hired John Liptak from Hong Kong-based hedge fund Tribridge Capital to head its Asia-Pacific distressed and special situations group, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters. [ID:nTOE62804S]

LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL UNDERWRITERS EUROPE

Liberty International Underwriters Europe (LIU Europe), a division of Liberty Mutual Group, has appointed Matthew Hogg as vice president to lead a newly established strategic assets division that will develop and underwrite a range of specialist risks. Hogg joined LIU Europe in January 2010 and is based in London.

RBC WEALTH MANAGEMENT

The international division of RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO) (RY.N), said it has appointed Jonathan Gold, previously a vice president at Alliance Bernstein Global Wealth Management, as a director.

ALVAREZ & MARSAL

A&M TAXAND has appointed Colin Keane as a senior director in its UK office. Keane joins from Pricewaterhouse Coopers where he was employment solutions director for three years.

BOFA-MERILL LYNCH (BAC.N)

Bank of America-Merrill Lynch named Arnaud Lambillon as a financial adviser covering resident non-domiciled UK clients and UK citizens based in Switzerland. Lambillon, who joins EMEA Merrill Lynch Wealth Management from UBS UBSN.VX, will be based in Zurich.

PACIFIC ALLIANCE GROUP

The Asian alternative investment manager said on Monday, it has appointed Wei Song as a managing director of Pacific Alliance Real Estate. Song joins from Equity International, a privately held real estate investment company, where he held the position of senior vice president, responsible for originating and executing investments in China.

CARLYLE GROUP

The private equity firm said it has named former Morgan Stanley (MS.N) executive Mitch Petrick to head its leveraged finance and mezzanine business for the United States and Europe, a source familiar with the situation said late on Monday. [ID:nN08111608]
