** Belgium and French bank BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA) wrestled over revised terms for the break-up of stricken financial group Fortis FOR.BR, with hours left to strike a deal.

** Roche Holding AG ROG.VX raised its bid to buy out the minority shareholders of Genentech Inc DNA.N to $93 a share from $86.50 and extended its tender offer by a week. [ID:nL6634471]
