Zemek joins AXA from New Star Asset Management NSAM.L, where she was head of fixed income.
US-INDIA BUSINESS COUNCIL
The US-India Business Council (USIBC) appointed Jesse Bhattal, chief executive officer of Lehman Brothers Asia-Pacific, to its board.
The USIBC is a business advocacy organization representing 260 of the largest U.S. companies investing in India.
The Copenhagen-based online investment bank named Howard Prince-Wright chief financial officer.
Prince-Wright joins Saxo Bank from multi-regional cement producer, Titan Cement Company SA (TTNr.AT).
The unit of Marsh & McLennan Cos (MMC.N) named its UK Chief Operating Officer, John Nicholson, as chairman of its Scottish operations, effective Jan. 1, 2008.
Nicholson will oversee Marsh’s offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow and will remain a director of Marsh Ltd and a member of its audit and risk committees.
The British fund management group named James Gledhill as head of fixed income with immediate effect.
