** Chrysler LLC Chief Executive Bob Nardelli said on Monday the automaker is talking with “third parties” interested in exploring tie-ups as it seeks to leverage its assets amid a global credit crunch.

** Waste Management Inc WMI.N, the No. 1 U.S. trash hauler, withdrew its proposal to acquire No. 3 Republic Services Inc (RSG.N), citing the current state of the financial markets.
** An affiliate of commercial real estate firm Compson Development offered to buy Agree Realty Corp (ADC.N) for about $328.7 million, more than two years after it had made a higher bid that was shot down by Agree Realty. [ID:nBNG216634]
** Loss-making chipmaker Qimonda QI.N has agreed to sell its stake in manufacturing joint venture Inotera to rival Micron MU.N for $400 million in cash as it steps up restructuring to combat a severe downturn. [ID:nTP146011]
