** China Construction Bank (601939.SS) and Bank of America (BAC.N) have set up a $615 million financial leasing venture, among the first major Sino-foreign ventures to start up formally in the nascent sector.

** Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc (BRKa.N) (BRKb.N), in its second acquisition this week, agreed to buy the NRG NV reinsurance unit of ING Group NV ING.AS (ING.N) for about 300 million euros ($441 million). [nL28277049]
