Bolsa de Tokio sube por cobertura de posiciones cortas

TOKIO, 18 may (Reuters) - El Índice Nikkei subió más del uno por ciento el miércoles por una cobertura de posiciones cortas producida por una menor preocupación sobre la fortaleza del yen.

Los expertos consideraban que sería difícil lograr nuevos avances debido al recelo en torno al plan de compensación para las víctimas del accidente nuclear de Tokyo Electric.

El Indice Nikkei cerró con alza de 95,06 puntos, un 0,99 por ciento, a un máximo de 9.662,08 y caer a un mínimo de 9.590,40.
