Jan 22 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2100 GMT on Tuesday.

** Roche Holding AG ROG.VX has overcome Ventana’s VMSI.O resistance to its takeover bid by raising the price, acquiring the diagnostics maker for $3.4 billion to boost its cancer testing business.

** Israel’s Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd TEVA.O (TEVA.TA) said it would acquire privately held biopharmaceutical company CoGenesys Inc for $400 million in cash. [nN22466190]

** India’s New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV.BO) said it had entered a deal to sell 26 percent in a unit to NBC Universal Inc for $150 million, the latest in a series of consolidation moves in Indian broadcasting. [nBOM138295]

** Irish agri-nutrition firm Origin Enterprises (OGN.I) said it would buy Masstock Group Holdings Ltd, which provides specialist agronomy services in the UK and Poland, to gain direct access to a flourishing farm sector. [nL22585396]

** KV Pharmaceutical Co KVa.N KVb.N said it agreed to acquire U.S. and worldwide rights to Gestiva, a drug to prevent preterm birth in women with a history of preterm delivery, from Hologic Inc (HOLX.O) for $82 million in cash. [nWNAS7055]

** ConocoPhillips (COP.N) purchased a 50 percent stake in TransCanada Corp’s (TRP.TO) planned Keystone Oil Pipeline, which will be able to ship 590,000 barrels of crude oil from Alberta, Canada, to the U.S. Midwest, the companies said. [nWNAS7095]

** Imperial Tobacco IMT.L said it now holds 93.5 percent of Franco-Spanish cigarette maker Altadis ALT.MC after it launched a 50-euros-a-share cash bid last year worth 12.6 billion euros ($18.2 billion). [nL22550339]

** Finland’s Talentum TTM1V.HE said it has agreed to sell its television production unit Varesvuo Partners Oy for a debt free price of 11 million euros ($16 million) to venture firm CapMan CPMBV.HE. [nWLB6028]

** Finnish Ruukki Group RUG1V.HE said it had agreed to buy majority interest in Junnikkala, which owned 2 saw mills in western Finland. Ruukki said it paid 9 million euros ($13 million) for the 51 percent share in Junnikkala. [nWLB6079]

** Specialty steel and tool maker Sandvik (SAND.ST) said it had bought South Africa’s Corstor International, which has annual sales of around 70 million Swedish crowns ($10.6 million). [nSAT004853]

** Sonoco Products Co (SON.N) said it plans to acquire the assets of VoidForm International Ltd, a privately held maker of fiber-based concrete construction void forms, without disclosing the terms. [nWNAS7090]

** Provogue India Ltd (PROV.BO), makers of men’s clothing, said it has acquired a majority stake in an outdoor advertising and publicity firm, Sporting and Outdoor Ad-Agency Pvt Ltd. [nBMB000578]
