** Mining group Anglo American (AAL.L: Cotización) said it had sold its remaining 11.3 percent stake in South Africa's AngloGold Ashanti (AGLJ.J: Cotización) (AU.N: Cotización) for around $1.3 billion.

** Brazil's largest meat processor, Sadia SDIA4.SA SDA.N, said it was considering a business tie-up with Perdigao PRGA3.SA, another major meat processor and exporter. [ID:nN16545454]
