Anadarko says change in accounting will reduce retained earnings
Oct 25 (Reuters) - Anadarko Petroleum Corp (APC.N: Cotización) said it sees a non-cash reduction to its retained earnings through June 30 due to a change in accounting for its oil and gas exploration and development activities.
The company said it expects the reduction to be about $130 million, compared with Anadarko's original estimate of $1.5 billion to $2 billion. (Reporting by Supantha Mukherjee in Bangalore)
