Johnson Controls sees Q4, 2007 earnings below market view
Oct 9 (Reuters) - Diversified manufacturer Johnson Controls Inc (JCI.N: Cotización) forecast earnings from continuing operations for the fourth quarter and 2007 below Wall Street expectations.
The company expects earnings of 77 cents to 78 cents a share for the quarter and about $2.08 to $2.10 a share for the year. It said its 2007 earnings excludes a non-recurring tax benefit of 6 cents a share.
Analysts on average expect the company to earn 89 cents a share for the fourth quarter, and $2.40 a share for the full year, both excluding special items, according to Reuters Estimates. (Reporting by Dilipp S. Nag in Bangalore)
