Sept 19 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Friday.

** ArcelorMittal SA ISPA.AS, the world's number one steel maker, is looking to take control of ArcelorMittal SA Ltd (ACLJ.J: Cotización) in a $5 billion deal, the Financial Times' Alphaville website said.

** Generic drug giant Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd TEVA.O is unlikely to buy Germany's Stada (STAGn.DE: Cotización) as it eyes potential targets in other countries such as Japan, the Israeli company's top North American executive said. [ID:nN19484618]
