GE Energy signs $400 mln pact to supply wind turbines
Oct 1 (Reuters) - GE Energy said it signed a $400 million agreement to supply 200 wind turbines to SkyPower Corp, a company affiliated with Lehman Brothers LEH.N, that will have the capacity to produce 300 megawatts of wind-generated electricity.
The agreement calls for delivery of the 1.5-megawatt machines in 2009, for projects across Canada and the United States, GE Energy and SkyPower said in a statement. (Reporting by Aniruddha Basu in Bangalore)
