March 24 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Tuesday.

** Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS.N: Cotización) and China's ICBC (1398.HK: Cotización) have been in discussions about the New York bank reducing its stake in the world's largest financial institution, according to a report.

** Global energy giants BP (BP.L: Cotización), Eni (ENI.MI: Cotización) and Shell (RDSa.L: Cotización) are eyeing possible bids for Australia's No.3 oil and gas firm Santos (STO.AX: Cotización), which one analyst valued at around $7 billion, but a bid from China looks unlikely, dealmakers say.
