** A dispute over marketing rights held by mining group Xstrata's XTA.L biggest shareholder is threatening a possible takeover by Brazil's Vale (VALE5.SA: Cotización) (RIO.N: Cotización) worth around $90 billion, a source close to the situation said.

** Colonial's (COL.MC: Cotización) shareholders have asked the Investment Corporation of Dubai to make changes to a takeover bid worth more than 3 billion euros ($4.53 billion), the Spanish property company said. [nL28651734]
