Sept 16 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Tuesday.

** British bank Barclays (BARC.L: Cotización) has agreed to buy Lehman Brothers' LEH.P core U.S. broker-dealer business for roughly $2 billion, a source familiar with the matter said.

** International Rectifier Corp IRF.N rejected Vishay Intertechnology Inc's (VSH.N: Cotización) revised acquisition offer of $23 per share, saying it undervalues future prospects of the company. [ID:nBNG196932]
