NORTHERN TRUST (NTRS.O)
The Chicago-based investment manager appointed Stephanie Saunders to head up its dedicated infrastructure fund administration team, part of Northern Trust’s Real Estate and Infrastructure Fund Services Department, based in Guernsey.
NATIONAL EXPRESS GROUP PLC (NEX.L)
Appointed Jeremy (Jez) Maiden, currently finance director of Northern Foods plc, as finance director of the group. He will join later in 2008.
The corporate and investment bank appointed Christophe Boulanger as a senior credit analyst in the Automotive and Capital Goods sectors in its Credit Research team. He joins Calyon from Dresdner Kleinwort where he worked for over seven years. He will be based in London.
The French bank appointed Eric Taze-Bernard as head of Investment of long-only Multimanagement in June 2008. He was previously Chief Investment Officer of Multimanagement at Invesco.
The investment bank said it was rehiring two executives who had left in 2007 for unspecified reasons. Lehman said it was hiring Michael Gelband, who resigned last year as global head of fixed income, to the newly created post of global head of capital markets.
It also rehired Alex Kirk, co-chief operating officer for the fixed income division until 2007, to the post of global head of principal investing, succeeding Dave Goldfarb.
Goldfarb, in turn, will take up the newly created post of chief strategy officer.
OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP (OCBC.SI)
The smallest of Singapore’s three listed banks appointed Ching Wei Hong as its new chief financial officer. Ching, who also heads OCBC’s operations and technology, replaces Soon Tit Koon, who will take on a new role as head of group investments. (Compiled by Kuganandhan Paramanandan in Bangalore)
